Veer Bhavnagri
Veer Bhavnagri was most recently a founder and served as General Counsel of Allogene Therapeutics, a public clinical-stage immuno-oncology company, from 2018 to 2023. Prior to Allogene, Veer served as the VP, Corporate Counsel, of Kite Pharma from 2014 until 2018. Veer was an integral member of the select deal team involved in the sale of Kite to Gilead Sciences. Previously, Veer was a senior associate at Cooley LLP. Prior to Cooley, Veer was an associate in the New York and Sydney offices of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
Veer received a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. He received an A.B. in mathematical economics and political science, with honors, from Brown University. Veer is admitted to practice law in Michigan, California and New York.
